This is a blog about and for Benita, my gorgeous brave little baby girl who has a genetic defect meaning that she has no immune system. She went into intensive care in Munich on Easter Saturday 2010 with a lung infection and was on a ventilator for 3.5 weeks. Thankfully her lungs have improved and she no longer needs the machine. We have now been transferred to a sterile unit while we wait for a bone marrow transplant which is the key to a clean bill of health. We very much appreciate your thoughts, prayers and donations for the charity which is currently searching for a donor.
